If you’re in NYC this week, Hopewell are playing three awesome shows around the area—one of which is a special performance at All Tomorrow’s Parties in Monticello, NY. The Flaming Lips asked the band to perform on their curated Sunday date but asked them to do something a little different. Curious to see what they’ve put together but can’t make it upstate? Come out to the Cameo Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this Thursday, Sept. 10th where they’ll be performing the piece dubbed the “The Desperation Suite,” complete with a female choir and avant-garde saxophonist Mark Marinoff. If psychedelic jams on the high seas is more your speed, come hang with us on the Rocks Off boat cruise this Wednesday, Sept. 9th, where Hopewell will play with Matador Records’ Dead Meadow.
